Mua ō is a higher education conference that started in 2008 in response to the disproportionate number of Pacific Islanders pursuing a higher education. This year, the conference will bring light to different issues in the Pacific Islander community such as immigration, civic engagement, queer issues, womyn’s rights, gender, Pacific Islanders in higher education, etc. Our hope is to create a space where we can merge the importance of higher education and social justice as it relates to the Pacific Islander community. ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE INVITED! BRING A FRIEND! Food will be provided!

Here’s an interactive map of the campus (look for Martin Luther King Student Union) – http://berkeley.edu/map/3dmap/3dmap.shtml
