JOBS: For youth ages 16-24: LGBTQ Content Developers Position

ReachOut.com is a site run by Inspire that provides information and support for teens going through tough times.  The LGBTQ Content Developers will be a small, but powerful group of 10 young people ages 16-24 who live in California, identify as LGBTQ, and are passionate about helping their peers deal with issues surrounding sexuality and gender identity.

LGBTQ Content Developers will

  • Propose, develop, and deliver youth relevant LGBTQ content in the form of blog posts, fact sheets or real life stories presented in audio or video format. Content Developers will come up with the topics, tone and formats best suited for delving information and support around issues such as gender identity, sexual health and romantic relationships.
  • Provide feedback on the LGBTQ content currently available on ReachOut.com in order to identify gaps, possible revisions and generally help us make sure it is the best it can be for young people.
  • Help us meet the diverse needs of the LGBTQ youth community and promote acceptance by identifying areas for growth and expansion

No travel is required, but there will be a virtual orientation. No experience required. Relevant volunteering/nonprofit work experience is a plus.
