ANNOUNCEMENT: Seeking Transgender Individuals to participate in a study examining experiences of gender affirmation

• Do you identify as a trans man, trans woman, genderqueer, two-spirit, man or woman of transgender experience, or similar trans identity?
• Are you between the ages of 18 and 50?
• Have you experienced another person recognizing your gender identity and saying or conveying so in a way that was positive for you in at least two contexts (for example, with friends, family, partners, service providers, at school, or at work)?
• Are you available for an in-person interview in the San Francisco Bay Area?

 If so, you may be eligible to participate in a one-time interview for the Gender Affirmation Study. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Interviews will be conducted by a female-bodied gender variant graduate student. Eligible participants will be compensated with a $30 gift certificate to their choice of a selection of businesses owned and operated by trans individuals as thanks for participation.
