Ted Lempert is President of Children Now, a California based national research and advocacy organization. Ted served eight years in the California State Assembly.
Ted served on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and is currently President of the San Mateo County Board of Education. He has a law degree from Stanford University.
Children Now’s mission is to find common ground among opinion leaders and core organizations to work together to develop and drive socially innovative, “win-win” approaches to helping all children achieve their full potential.
Under Ted’s Leadership, Children Now initiated The Children’s Movement of California to connect all people and organizations that want to see children’s health and education improved. Individuals and organization who become members of The Children’s Movement are provided with trusted information and easy-to-use tools to positively influence local and state-level policy making for kids as it is happening.
