Our friends at the Daly City Youth Health Center are looking for designers between the age of 13-25 who live in San Mateo County to design the t-shirt for the 25th Anniversary Walk-A-Thon event on Saturday, March 28th, 2015. Entries are due on February 1st, 2015, and must be submitted as a PDF or JPEG file. See and download the flyer and attached entry form below.
This morning, NCPP and Asian American Recovery Services (a program of HealthRIGHT 360) staff attended the Daly City Youth Health Center fundraiser breakfast at Outback Steakhouse in Daly City. Many partner agencies were also in attendance, including: Daly City Library & Recreation Services; and Jefferson Union High School District teachers, counselors, board members, and administrators. NCPP and HealthRIGHT 360 is proud to support the work of our partners in providing comprehensive sexual health education and services, as well as basic medical clinic needs for youth.

Daly City Youth Health Center will be hosting a presentation on the Affordable Care Act and Behavioral Health Care. Clara Boyden, with Behavioral Health and Recovery Services of San Mateo County, will share her vast knowledge of the Affordable Care Act implementation, specifically how that will impact Alcohol and Other Drug and Mental Health Services.

The Being LGBT Friendly training is for everyone to learn and discuss how we can create a safe and welcoming space for LGBT clients. The Daly City Youth Health Center’s Director, Ilana Sherer, MD, will be the presenter.
