Congresswoman Jackie Speier held a Town Hall for the Pacific Islander community at Alta Loma Middle School in South San Francisco.  Pacific Islander community organizers and leaders were honored for their work, and had an opportunity to address their concerns with Congresswoman Speier.  Check out the picture gallery below!

LGBTQQIA: Celebrating the Life of Rae Tapia 05-01-2012

NCPP cordially invites you to attend this celebration of the life of Rae Tapia, a transgendered youth from Woodside High School who took her own life last year as a result of struggles related to her identity.  Join the community in exploring solutions and finding ways to heal and grow from this experience.

LGBTQQIA: 5th Annual QACON April 27th-29th, 2012

The Queer and Asian Conference (QACON) will be holding their annual conference at UC Berkley on April 27 to April 29th, 2012. Learn about the issues of being Queer and Asian, the changing identities and growing communities. The conference is free and open to anyone interested. COMMUNITY & YOUTH: Mission Fusion 2012: “Elements,” Feb 9th-11th

The annual Mission Fusion show at Jefferson High School is set for February 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2012 at 7:30pm in the JHS Little Theater (the year on the attached flyer is a typo).

Mission Fusion combines song, dance, performing art, theater, light, sound, audio, and video into an incredible show centered around an annual theme and storyline.  Tickets are usually sliding scale between $7-10.  Opening night is often the least packed, and the 2nd and 3rd nights often sell out.  Get your tickets at the door, or pre-sale from student performers.  Please contact Jefferson High School at 650-550-7700 for more information about Mission Fusion.
